About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) with a strong background in Java, Selenium, Rest Assured, and Postman. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and developing robust automation frameworks, ensuring product quality, and collaborating closely with development teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Java and Selenium for UI automation.

- Develop and execute API automation scripts using Rest Assured and Postman.

- Perform integration, regression, and performance testing for complex software systems.

- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to understand system design and requirements.

- Implement best practices for continuous testing within CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).

- Participate in code reviews to ensure testability and maintainability of code.

- Identify, log, and track defects; perform root cause analysis for production issues.

- Ensure automation scripts are scalable, maintainable, and efficient.

- Contribute to improving test coverage, quality, and overall product stability.

Mandatory Skills :

- Programming Language : Strong proficiency in Java.

- Automation Tools : Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for UI testing.

- API Testing : Expertise in Rest Assured and Postman.

- Test Frameworks : Experience with TestNG / JUnit / Cucumber.

- Version Control : Working knowledge of Git / GitHub / Bitbucket.

- Build & CI/CD Tools : Experience with Maven / Gradle / Jenkins.
