Software Development Engineer - Test - Automation Testing

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for cloud-native applications running on AKS.

- Build and execute integration, functional, regression, performance, and scalability tests.

- Work closely with development and DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

- Validate deployments, monitoring, and scaling of applications on Kubernetes clusters.

- Write and maintain automation scripts in Python, Java, or C#.

- Ensure test environments mirror production-like AKS deployments.

- Perform root cause analysis for failures and provide detailed defect reports.

- Contribute to best practices in test automation and cloud-native quality engineering.

Qualifications & Skills :

- Proven experience as an SDET or Automation Engineer with expertise in AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service).

- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, or C#).

- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm charts, and microservices testing.

- Familiarity with Azure cloud services, monitoring tools, and logging frameworks.

- Experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

- Solid understanding of REST APIs, system performance, and scalability testing.

- Strong knowledge of test automation tools (Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, PyTest, etc.).

- Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
