Software Development Engineer - Test - Automation Testing

Key Responsibilities :

- Implement and maintain BDD testing frameworks using Cucumber or similar tools.

- Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and define test cases.

- Work on integrating Generative AI (GenAI) tools (such as GitHub Copilot or OpenAI APIs) to enhance testing processes and coverage.

- Develop automated test cases for APIs, databases, and web applications.

- Utilize CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Helios to integrate testing into deployment pipelines.

- Analyze test results, identify bugs, and ensure quality standards are maintained across development cycles.

- Participate in code reviews, test planning, and contribute to continuous process improvements.

- Understand enterprise system architectures, including database and API integrations.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong expertise in C#, Selenium, SpecFlow, and BDD frameworks (like Cucumber).

- SQL knowledge for test data creation and validation.

- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Python development.

- At least 1 year of experience working on GenAI tools/projects (e.g., OpenAI APIs, GitHub Copilot).

- Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins (Helios and GitHub Actions experience is a plus).

- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.

- Knowledge of enterprise systems and end-to-end integration processes.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Experience in capital markets or financial domain is a strong advantage.

Nice to Have :

- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- ISTQB or relevant testing certifications.
