Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for mobile, web, and backend services.

- Conduct thorough testing across multiple layers of the applicationfrontend, backend, and integrations.

- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts to validate application functionality and performance.

- Implement and maintain mobile automation frameworks using Appium.

- Identify, record, document, and track defects through resolution.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, product, and DevOps to ensure high-quality releases.

- Continuously improve test coverage, test effectiveness, and QA processes.

- Explore and integrate AI tools and automation platforms to enhance testing efficiency.

- Stay updated with new testing tools, trends, and technologies.

- Participate in code reviews, daily stand-ups, and agile ceremonies.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Solid understanding of basic data structures and algorithms.

- Proven experience as a Test Automation Engineer or similar QA role.

- Strong knowledge of software testing principles, practices, and methodologies.

- Experience testing applications across backend, frontend, and integration points.

- Expertise in mobile test automation using Appium (iOS and Android).

- Familiarity with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, etc.

- Hands-on experience using AI tools in QA is a strong advantage.

- Proficient in writing test scripts using Java, Python, or other relevant programming languages.

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or similar.

- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork abilities.

- Self-motivated and eager to learn new tools and technologies.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).

- Exposure to API testing tools like Postman or Rest Assured.

- Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).

- ISTQB or other QA certifications.
