We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled SDET to join our QA Engineering team. As an SDET, you will play a critical role in ensuring product quality by developing and executing automated test frameworks, performing deep functional and API validations, and validating data accuracy at the database level.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks

- Perform functional testing across web and mobile platforms to validate end-to-end user flows

- Develop and execute API test suites using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar

- Validate backend data and perform database testing (SQL/NoSQL) to ensure data integrity

- Identify, log, and track bugs to closure, and work closely with developers for resolution

- Contribute to building and enhancing CI/CD pipelines for test automation

- Own and maintain test cases, test data, and reusable components in the automation suite

- Ensure high test coverage and contribute to improving overall code quality

- Analyze test results, provide meaningful metrics and insights, and participate in release sign-off

- Continuously improve automation coverage and test framework scalability

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong experience in functional testing of web/mobile applications

- Hands-on experience in API testing (REST/GraphQL) using Postman, Swagger, or automation libraries

- Proficiency in database testing using SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and/or NoSQL databases

- Proven track record in test automation using tools like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, Cypress, or similar

- Good programming/scripting knowledge in Java, Python, or JavaScript

- Experience working with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.)

- Strong analytical and debugging skills

- Excellent communication and documentation abilities

Good to Have :

- Experience with BDD tools like Cucumber

- Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling)

- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)

- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker
