Software Development Engineer - Test - Automation Testing

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.

- Perform thorough manual testing of new features, bug fixes, and regression cases.

- Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and build test strategies accordingly.

- Execute and maintain test cases, test plans, and test data for both functional and nonfunctional requirements.

- Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.

- Identify, log, and track bugs.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- 4-5 years of experience in software testing, with strong exposure to both manual and automation testing.

- Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or Cypress.

- Experience with at least one programming/scripting language (Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.).

- Strong understanding of testing methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.

- Hands-on experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).

- Familiarity with version control systems like Git
