Role Overview :

We are seeking a high-caliber SDET to join our engineering team in Gurgaon, tasked with architecting robust automation frameworks that ensure the seamless delivery of our enterprise-grade software products.

In this role, you will bridge the gap between development and quality assurance, working closely with cross-functional product teams, architects, and stakeholders to define testing strategies that uphold our commitment to performance and reliability.

By designing scalable automated test suites and integrating them into our CI/CD pipelines, you will directly influence the speed of our release cycles and the overall stability of the user experience, ensuring our platform remains resilient under high-load conditions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement scalable test automation frameworks using Java to reduce manual intervention and accelerate the software development lifecycle.

- Develop comprehensive API testing suites using Rest Assured to validate backend service integrity and ensure seamless data exchange across microservices.

- Execute end-to-end web automation using Playwright to simulate complex user journeys and guarantee consistent UI performance across diverse environments.

- Collaborate with developers to identify bottlenecks in the codebase, providing actionable insights that improve system architecture and code quality.

- Integrate automated regression suites into CI/CD pipelines to provide rapid feedback loops, enabling the team to deploy high-quality features with confidence.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in building and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch using Java, with a deep understanding of object-oriented programming principles.

- Proven ability to perform rigorous API testing using Rest Assured, ensuring robust validation of RESTful services and complex JSON payloads.

- Hands-on experience with Playwright for modern web automation, capable of writing efficient, asynchronous scripts that handle dynamic web elements with ease.

- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to communicate technical testing strategies effectively to both engineering peers and non-technical stakeholders.

- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment in Gurgaon, where proactive collaboration is essential for project success.

- A Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field, complemented by a track record of delivering high-impact quality engineering solutions within a 3 - 6 year professional tenure.
