Job Description :

This is a remote position.

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented SDET (JrMid Level) who can contribute across API testing, automation development, mobile testing, and overall quality assurance practices. The ideal candidate should be passionate about quality, comfortable working across multiple frameworks, and open to learning new tools and technologies.

This role involves both manual and automation testing responsibilities, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, stable, and scalable software.

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform API testing using tools like Postman (collections, workflows, automation scripts).

- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Karate DSL or similar test automation frameworks.

- Execute mobile application testing across Android and iOS platforms.

- Work across different automation frameworks and adapt to new ones as needed.

- Prepare comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test execution reports.

- Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure strong understanding of requirements.

- Perform functional, non-functional, regression, and system testing.

- Gain a basic understanding of performance testing concepts and support performance-related validations.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint deliverables.

- Support production releases and post-release validation when require

Requirements :

Required Skills & Experience :

- 2 - 6 years of experience in QA/SDET roles.

- Solid experience in API Testing using Postman or similar tools.

- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks, preferably Karate DSL.

- Strong understanding of test plans, test scenarios, and test case design techniques.

- Experience in mobile app testing (manual).

- Knowledge of functional and non-functional testing concepts.

- Familiarity with performance testing fundamentals (Load, Stress, Soak tests).

- Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodology.

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Willingness to work during U.S. CST/EST time zones when required.

Good to Have :

- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)

- Knowledge of SQL and database validations

- Exposure to BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Gherkin)

- Experience working in FinTech or Payments domain
