About the Role :

We are seeking a skilled - Software Development Engineer- with hands-on experience in - Tagetik Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting- . In this role, you will analyze, design, develop, and test application components across one or more clients, while performing maintenance, enhancements, and development work. You will be expected to contribute to problem-solving, support reporting processes, and collaborate closely with the team to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform end-to-end application development : analyze, design, code, and test multiple components.

- Provide functional support for dry runs, quarterly submissions, and reporting periods.

- Maintain integrations, FX rates, and ownership registers in Tagetik.

- Maintain data mappings and reconcile data between Tagetik and external systems.

- Build individual and business unit-specific reports.

- Conduct UAT, code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

- Participate in Tagetik upgrades, job scheduling, and data import/export.

- Ensure data quality, implement controls, and perform general health checks in Tagetik.

- Research and implement new technologies to enhance software solutions.

- Act as a subject-matter expert (SME) and contribute actively to team discussions.

- Professional & Technical Skills : -

- Proficiency in - Tagetik Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting- (must-have).

- Strong experience with - Tagetik Excel Add-on- , consolidation, log analysis, and performance tuning.

- Knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms.

- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI .

- Hands-on experience implementing machine learning algorithms (linear/logistic regression, decision trees, clustering).

- Strong data munging skills : cleaning, transforming, and normalizing datasets to ensure data integrity.

Additional Information :

- Minimum 5 years of experience in Tagetik Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting.

- Based in India.
