Role : Software Development Engineer (Backend)

Location : Mumbai - Vikhroli

Work Model : 5 Days (Work from Office)

Role Overview :

We are looking for a strong Backend Engineer with deep expertise in Node.js and TypeScript to build and scale high-performance systems for a product-based environment. The role involves working on core backend architecture, APIs, and scalable services.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop scalable backend systems using Node.js and TypeScript

- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices

- Ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability of applications

- Collaborate with product, frontend, and DevOps teams for end-to-end delivery

- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code

- Participate in system design and architecture discussions

- Proficiency in Node.js, and TypeScript, APIs, databases.

- Experience working with and building backend systems that have been used in the real world.

- Ability to navigate different stages of product development from scrappy MVPs to scalable architectures.

Must-Have Requirements :

- 3-6 years of backend development experience

- Strong hands-on expertise in Node.js

- Strong proficiency in TypeScript

- Solid understanding of APIs, backend architecture, and system design basics

- Experience working in product-based companies (mandatory)

- Good problem-solving skills and understanding of data structures

Good to Have :

- Experience with NestJS

- Exposure to microservices architecture

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines

Candidate Profile :

- Open to relocation to Mumbai if currently based elsewhere

- Preference for candidates who have worked across multiple cities/locations, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability

- Comfortable with 5-day work-from-office setup

- Strong ownership mindset and ability to work in fast-paced product environments

Additional Notes :

- Candidates who have spent their entire career in a single city without relocation exposure may not be ideal for this role

- Immediate or serving to 60-day notice period candidates preferred
