About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SDET III API & Mobile to join our fast-paced engineering team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving quality engineering initiatives across mobile and backend platforms. You will lead the design and implementation of scalable automation frameworks, ensure seamless CI/CD integrations, and uphold the highest standards of quality across native mobile applications and backend services.

Key Responsibilities :

- Framework Development : Design, architect, and maintain robust, scalable test automation frameworks for API and mobile application testing using tools such as pytest, TestNG, and Postman.

- Test Strategy & Execution : Define and execute end-to-end test strategies, ensuring functional, integration, regression, and performance test coverage across services and applications.

- CI/CD Integration : Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) to enable continuous quality feedback and deployment confidence.

- Mobile App Testing : Conduct thorough validation of native iOS and Android applications across multiple OS versions and devices, ensuring stability and performance.

- Technical Leadership : Mentor junior SDETs through code reviews, training, and hands-on guidance to ensure best practices in automation and QA are consistently applied.

- Test Data & Virtualization : Collaborate in building mock services, test data strategies, and virtualization approaches to drive efficient and independent testing.

- Collaboration & Communication : Partner with developers, DevOps, QA, and product teams to define acceptance criteria, review user stories, and ensure complete traceability from requirements to tests.

- Quality Metrics : Monitor key quality indicators, analyze defect patterns, and proactively implement process and tooling improvements.

Required Qualifications :

- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in test automation for backend APIs and services.

- Strong proficiency in Java and Python, with a solid understanding of object-oriented design principles.

- Expertise in testing RESTful APIs, with hands-on experience using tools like Postman, pytest, and TestNG.

- Sound knowledge of software QA methodologies, Agile practices, and the full SDLC.

- Experience integrating test suites with Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially AWS, for environment setup and testing strategies.
