Role overview :

As a Software Development Engineer III, you are in a senior Individual Contributor engineering role. Your proficiency with foundational computer science and software engineering concepts is taken as a given, and you will have proven significant technical depth and breadth. At this level, you will be playing an active role in technical leadership, with proven impact across teams and the wider directorate.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's/master's degree in computer science

- Minimum 8+ years' experience as a Software UI Engineer in Enterprise or Product companies

Technical Skills :

- 4 years developing React Native Front End App Experiences using React Native and the Expo Framework with core understanding of JavaScript Bridge (JSI)

- Deep proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript (highly preferred), including modern ES6+ concepts

- Strong command of React Principles, React Hooks, Context API, and Component lifecycles

- Hands-on experience with the latest Expo SDKs, Expo Router (file-based routing), and EAS workflows

- Proven experience with state management libraries such as Zustand, Redux Toolkit, or MobX

- Deep understanding of iOS and Android deployment Lifecycles, application signing, and app store guidelines

- Proficient in using Agentic AI to leverage spec, skills and agents to do 50% of their work across development, documentation and testing

What you will do :

- Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native

- Collaborate with engineering managers, product managers, designers and backend developers to deliver seamless user experiences

- Optimize applications for speed and scalability

- Write clean, maintainable and reusable code following best practices

- Integrate APIs and third-party libraries into applications

Process & Soft Skills :

- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and tools like JIRA/Confluence

- Strong leadership, ownership, and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and time management skills
