Role Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer - III (Backend) with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and backend system design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing scalable backend services, solving complex technical challenges, and contributing to architecture and design decisions.

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.

- Build and enhance microservices-based applications.

- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs.

- Work on system scalability, performance, reliability, and optimization.

- Participate in Low-Level Design (LLD) and technical architecture discussions.

- Apply Object-Oriented Design and Design Patterns.

- Develop efficient algorithms and optimize existing implementations.

- Work with RDBMS and SQL for data-intensive applications.

- Conduct code reviews and maintain high-quality coding standards.

- Troubleshoot complex production and technical issues.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers.

Tech Stack:

- Java 8/11/17+, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Microservices Architecture, RESTful APIs, Hibernate / JPA, PostgreSQL / MySQL / Oracle (SQL / RDBMS), Data Structures and Algorithms, OOP and Design Patterns, Git / Version Control, Maven / Gradle, Unit Testing - JUnit / Mockito.

Good to Have:

- Kafka / RabbitMQ, Redis / Caching, Docker and Kubernetes, CI/CD, cloud platforms such as AWS / GCP / Azure.

Requirements:

- Experience with distributed and highly scalable systems.

- 6+ years of backend/software development experience.

- Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.

- Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and distributed systems.

- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
