Role Overview

As an SDE-II - Test Automation Engineer, youll be a key contributor in building scalable test frameworks, improving test coverage, and integrating quality into every step of the development lifecycle.

Youll work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of reliability and performance.

Responsibilities :

- Design and build robust, reusable test automation frameworks for LLM workflows, REST APIs, and frontend components.

- Collaborate with developers to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

- Develop test strategies, test plans, and test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.

- Own quality for entire modules - from test planning to automation to release sign-off.

- Contribute to internal tools for test result visualization and quality analytics.

- Contribute to performance, load, and stress testing initiatives.

- Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to test model evaluation metrics, prompts, and outputs.

Requirements :

- 35 years of hands-on experience in test automation for scalable backend systems or platforms.

- Solid experience with UI automation tools

- Good understanding of REST APIs and experience with API testing tools like Postman or or automated API test suites.

- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions etc.

- Familiarity with CI/CD, GitHub Actions, and containerized environments (Docker, K8s).

- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have :

- Exposure to LLM testing, prompt engineering, or AI/ML model evaluation.

- Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter, k6 etc.

- Exposure to containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

- Experience with tools like pytest or custom test dashboards.
