We are looking for a passionate and highly skilled Software Development Engineer 2 (SDE 2) to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable distributed applications and backend systems.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build high-performance products and contribute to architectural decisions, coding standards, and system optimization. The candidate must possess excellent problem-solving abilities, strong coding skills, and hands-on experience with modern software development frameworks and cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable and high-performance applications.

- Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.

- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and QA teams to deliver robust solutions.

- Participate in system design discussions and technical decision-making.

- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and reliability.

- Develop RESTful APIs and microservices-based applications.

- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.

- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers when required.

- Implement security, performance, and quality best practices.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint planning activities.

- Continuously improve system architecture and engineering processes.

Required Skills :

Technical Skills :

- Strong proficiency in Java / Python / Node.js / Golang.

- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Microservices, or backend frameworks.

- Strong understanding of Data Structures & Algorithms.

- Experience with REST APIs and distributed systems.

- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, or Redis.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, or similar tools.

- Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Exposure to Kafka, RabbitMQ, or event-driven architecture.

- Experience with caching mechanisms and API gateways.

- Knowledge of system design concepts and scalable architecture.

- Understanding of observability and monitoring tools.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
