Software Development Engineer I - React.js/Next.js

Job Overview :

We are looking for a motivated and talented Software Development Engineer I (SDE I) to join our frontend engineering team.

Youll work on building dynamic, high-performance web applications using modern technologies such as React.js and Next.js.

As part of a fast-paced and collaborative environment, youll contribute to product development from design through deployment, focusing on user experience, performance, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities :

- Optimize web applications for server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG) using Next.js for better SEO and performance.

- Implement and manage state management using Redux (or other modern tools like Zustand/Recoil).

- Translate UI/UX wireframes into high-quality, reusable, and component-based code.

- Ensure applications are fully responsive, cross-browser compatible, and optimized for mobile and desktop devices.

- Collaborate with backend developers to consume and integrate RESTful APIs and services.

- Write unit and integration tests for frontend components to ensure high code quality and reliability.

- Perform code reviews, participate in sprint planning, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

- Analyze and resolve frontend performance bottlenecks and bugs for a smooth user experience.

Requirements & Qualifications :

- Strong grasp of modern frontend principles: responsive design, accessibility, component-driven architecture, and browser rendering behavior.

- Proficient with tools like Next.js, Webpack, Babel, and NPM/Yarn.

- Familiarity with frontend performance optimization, including lazy loading, code splitting, and bundling techniques.

- Understanding of RESTful API integration, HTTP protocols, and client-server interactions.

- Experience using Git for version control and working in an Agile/Scrum development process.

- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
