Position Overview :

We are seeking a motivated and technically proficient Software Development Engineer I (SDE I) to join our engineering team in Chennai. This is an excellent opportunity for early-career developers with a strong foundation in Core Java and Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA) to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

As an SDE I, you will be responsible for developing and supporting production systems, participating in operational activities, and contributing to high-quality software delivery. You will embody key leadership principles such as ownership, bias for action, and delivering results.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient software solutions using Core Java.

- Participate in support and operational activities, ensuring system stability and prompt issue resolution.

- Analyze and debug code issues and propose effective solutions to improve software performance and reliability.

- Collaborate closely with peers, product managers, and QA engineers in a cross-functional agile team.

- Follow clean code practices, contribute to code reviews, and maintain documentation as needed.

- Demonstrate the ability to dive deep into technical problems and take full ownership of solutions.

Mandatory Skills and Qualifications :

- 1-2 years of hands-on experience in Core Java development and problem-solving with Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA).

- Strong understanding of OOP concepts, Java collections, and multi-threading.

- Excellent logical reasoning, debugging, and analytical skills.

- Candidates currently residing in Chennai or willing to relocate immediately are highly preferred.

- Must be available to join immediately.

Educational Qualifications : Bachelors degree in Computer Science (CS), Information Technology (IT), or B.Sc. in Computer Science from a recognized institution.

Interview Process :

- Glider Assessment - Online technical screening.

- Technical Round 1 - Problem-solving and Java fundamentals.

- Technical Round 2 - Hands-on coding and system understanding.
