About the Role :

We are seeking a proactive Software Development Engineer I (SDE 1) to join our core product engineering team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain high-throughput backend services and web applications, working closely with senior engineers to solve complex technical challenges at scale.

Key Responsibilities :

- Write clean, efficient, testable, and maintainable code adhering to software engineering best practices.

- Solve algorithmic and system challenges using robust Data Structures and Algorithms.

- Collaborate with Product Managers, QA, and Senior Engineers to deliver features on schedule.

- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning sessions.

- Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance and response times in production environments.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.

- 0 - 2 years of experience building production-grade software (strong internship experience welcome).

- High proficiency in at least one core language : Java, Python, C++, Go, or Node.js.

- Strong fundamentals in Data Structures, Algorithms, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and System Design basics.

- Working knowledge of Relational or NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

- Proficiency with version control tools, specifically Git.

Good to Have :

- Exposure to cloud infrastructure platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

- Understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
