Job Overview :

We are looking for a skilled Software Development Engineer to join our engineering team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in backend application development and be comfortable working with one or more of Java, Python, and Node.js.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable backend applications, APIs, microservices, and integrations while working closely with product, frontend, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications and services.

- Develop robust and high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices.

- Work extensively with Java, Python, and/or Node.js for backend development.

- Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code.

- Design and optimize database queries, data models, and application performance.

- Integrate applications with internal and third-party APIs and services.

- Troubleshoot production issues and identify root causes.

- Implement appropriate logging, monitoring, error handling, and performance optimization.

- Participate in code reviews and maintain development best practices.

- Work with Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines.

- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, architects, and product managers.

- Contribute to system design, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making.

- Ensure applications meet security, scalability, reliability, and performance requirements.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and deliver features within defined timelines.

Technical Skills :

Backend Development :

- Strong hands-on experience in Java, Python, or Node.js.

- Strong understanding of OOP, data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and software engineering principles.

- Experience developing REST APIs, microservices, and distributed applications.

- Good understanding of API security, authentication, authorization, and error handling.

Java :

- Strong experience with Core Java.

- Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Hibernate/JPA.

- Good understanding of multithreading, collections, exception handling, and Java 8+ features.

- Experience developing enterprise-grade applications and microservices.

Python :

- Strong Python programming experience.

- Experience with frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.

- Good understanding of Python packages, asynchronous programming, API development, and scripting.

- Experience working with data processing or automation is an advantage.

Node.js :

- Strong experience with Node.js and backend development.

- Experience with Express.js, NestJS, or similar frameworks.

- Good understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and npm ecosystem.

- Experience building scalable REST APIs and backend services.
