Role Summary :

Design, develop, and enhance software components for HMI/SCADA and Industrial Automation solutions. The role involves building reliable, maintainable, and high-performance applications across UI and backend layers, aligned with defined architecture and quality standards. You will work in Agile teams with global stakeholders and contribute to prototyping, product engineering, and continuous delivery, including AI-driven and agentic capabilities where applicable.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement software features for HMI/SCADA products/modules as per defined architecture.

- Develop and maintain UI and application logic using JavaScript (framework-agnostic; based on product standards).

- Build and integrate backend services/components using C#/.NET and/or C++ where applicable.

- Contribute to visualization, configuration, alarm/event handling and runtime usability features typical to HMI/SCADA systems.

- Design and implement AI-driven capabilities (e.g., assisted engineering, smart alarming, anomaly detection support, contextual recommendations) in alignment with product roadmap.

- Contribute to agentic development (AI agents/workflows) to automate engineering/runtime tasks, integrating with existing toolchains and ensuring safety, traceability, and auditability.

- Create quick prototypes/PoCs to validate new concepts (performance, UX feasibility, integration approach, AI feasibility).

- Write clean, testable code; contribute to unit testing and TDD adoption.

- Work within Agile development practices; actively contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

- Support CI/CD pipelines and ensure engineering quality through code reviews, static checks, and automated tests.

- Collaborate effectively with multi-site, cross-cultural teams and communicate technical solutions clearly.

Must-Have Skills :

- Strong hands-on expertise in JavaScript.

- Strong experience in C#/.NET development.

- Solid understanding of OOP, design principles, and design patterns.

- Experience with unit testing, test automation, and TDD practices.

- Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.

- Proficient with Git and collaborative development workflows.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail.

Good-to-Have / Desirable Skills :

- Domain knowledge of Industrial Automation and HMI/SCADA concepts (tags, alarms, events, historian/trends, security, connectivity).

- Experience/exposure to AI-driven development (LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, evaluation/guardrails) in product contexts.

- Experience/exposure to agentic workflows (tool use, planning, orchestration, state management, human-in-the-loop patterns).

- Familiarity with C++ Qt/QML.

- Experience with performance optimization for UI-heavy applications (rendering, responsiveness, memory).
