Role Summary :

We are seeking a visionary ServiceNow Architect with a deep technical pedigree to lead the governance, design, and strategic evolution of our enterprise-scale ServiceNow ecosystem. In this principal-level role, you will be the technical authority responsible for defining the end-to-end architecture across the full ServiceNow suiteincluding ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, CSM, and SecOps.

You will drive the platform roadmap, ensuring that every solution is scalable, secure, and adheres to the "Out-of-the-Box" (OOB) first principle. As the primary architect for the CMDB and CSDM framework, you will orchestrate complex integrations and automated workflows while establishing rigorous coding standards and CI/CD practices. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can translate ambitious business objectives into high-performing technical blueprints, mentoring multidisciplinary teams to deliver world-class digital transformations.

Responsibilities :

- Enterprise Architecture Governance : Define and own the platform strategy, roadmap, and architectural standards across all ServiceNow modules and custom applications.

- Solution Blueprinting : Translate complex business requirements into scalable, reusable technical designs, ensuring optimal use of OOB capabilities to minimize technical debt.

- CMDB & CSDM Leadership : Architect the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) using the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) framework to ensure data health and service visibility.

- ITOM & Discovery Orchestration : Drive advanced ITOM capabilities, including Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management, to achieve high-fidelity infrastructure visibility.

- Advanced Integration Engineering : Design and implement robust integrations using IntegrationHub, MID Servers, REST/SOAP APIs, and custom scripted web services.

- Automation & Workflow Design : Architect sophisticated automation logic using Flow Designer, advanced Script Includes, and Business Rules to eliminate manual toil.

- Technical Authority & Review : Act as the final approver for solution designs, customizations, and complex code reviews, ensuring adherence to global best practices.

- Security & Access Control : Implement and govern ACLs, role-based access control (RBAC), and data privacy protocols to ensure strict regulatory compliance and audit readiness.

- Performance Engineering : Oversee platform performance tuning, capacity planning, and upgrade cycles to maintain a high-performing and resilient environment.

- CI/CD & DevOps Management : Establish and mature platform governance, including automated testing (ATF) and CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment.

- Technical Mentorship : Lead and mentor a global team of developers and consultants, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous platform innovation.

Technical Requirements :

- Platform Mastery : 12 to 15 years of experience in IT, with at least 8+ years focused exclusively on ServiceNow Architecture and implementation.

- Full-Suite Proficiency : Demonstrated expertise across ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps, and GRC.

- CSDM Expert : Proven track record of implementing the CSDM framework and managing CMDB governance for global enterprises.

- Integration Specialist : Deep hands-on experience with IntegrationHub, Spoke development, and MID Server configuration.

- Advanced Scripting : Mastery of ServiceNow JavaScript (GlideRecord, GlideAggregate), Jelly, and modern web technologies (HTML/CSS/AngularJS).

- ITOM Expertise : Professional experience in Service Mapping, Discovery, and Cloud Provisioning & Governance.

- Certifications (Required/Preferred) : Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in multiple tracks and Certified Application Developer (CAD). ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Master Architect (CMA) is a significant advantage.
