Role Overview :

As a Software Architect, you will serve as the technical backbone of our engineering organization, bridging the gap between complex business requirements and scalable technical solutions. You will operate at the intersection of strategy and execution, collaborating closely with product managers, engineering leads, and executive stakeholders to define the long-term technical roadmap.

Your day-to-day involves designing robust, high-availability systems that power our core platforms, ensuring that our infrastructure remains resilient, secure, and performant. By setting high engineering standards and mentoring cross-functional teams, you will directly influence the quality of our product delivery and the overall efficiency of our digital ecosystem, ultimately driving significant value for our global customer base.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement end-to-end system architectures that support high-traffic, distributed environments to ensure seamless scalability and reliability for end-users.

- Lead the transition from monolithic structures to microservices-based architectures, enabling faster deployment cycles and improved fault tolerance across the enterprise.

- Define and enforce rigorous coding standards and design patterns to maintain code quality and facilitate long-term maintainability across all development squads.

- Evaluate and integrate cloud-native technologies and services to optimize infrastructure costs and enhance the performance of our cloud-based applications.

- Collaborate with security teams to embed security-by-design principles into the software development lifecycle, protecting sensitive data and mitigating enterprise-level risks.

- Act as a technical advisor to leadership, translating complex technical trade-offs into actionable business insights to guide strategic investment in technology.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in architecting complex distributed systems and enterprise-grade applications, with a deep understanding of OOAD and modern design patterns.

- Proven ability to design and manage secure, high-performance API architectures that facilitate seamless integration between internal and external services.

- Strong proficiency in cloud computing platforms and the ability to architect multi-region, resilient solutions that meet stringent uptime requirements.

- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence decision-making at the executive level.

- A collaborative mindset with a history of mentoring senior engineers and fostering a culture of technical excellence within high-growth teams.

- A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field, complemented by 5-10 years of progressive experience in software engineering and architecture.

- High adaptability to a hybrid work environment, demonstrating the ability to lead distributed teams effectively while maintaining high standards of documentation and project transparency.
