Role : SoC Verification Engineer / ASIC Engineer
Experience : 46+ Years
Location : Hyderabad
Work Mode : Work From Office
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in SoC verification, SystemVerilog/UVM-based environments, and firmware-driven validation using C and SystemVerilog.
This role involves working closely with Architecture, Design, and Firmware teams to validate complex SoCs across simulation, emulation, and post-RTL environments.
You will play a key role in building scalable verification environments, driving automation, and ensuring high-quality silicon delivery.
Key Responsibilities :
SoC Verification & Validation
- Create and execute C and SystemVerilog-based tests for functional and system-level verification.
- Perform processor-based verification using embedded firmware and test programs.
- Execute verification across simulation, emulation, RTL, and netlist platforms.
Firmware & System-Level Testing
- Use ASIC test firmware to validate SoC behavior across different verification stages.
- Own ROM verification planning and execution, including test development and coverage analysis.
Verification Environment Development
- Create SV/UVM monitors, scoreboards, and checkers to improve coverage and debug efficiency.
- Drive automation flows for regression, coverage collection, and verification environment setup.
- Improve verification productivity through scripting, tooling, and process optimization.
Debugging & Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with Architecture, Design, and Firmware teams to resolve issues and refine verification strategies.
- Participate in design reviews, verification reviews, and milestone sign-offs.
- Communicate technical findings, risks, and recommendations effectively to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
Education
B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines.
Technical Skills
Mandatory
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in SoC verification using C-based tests.
- 3+ years of experience with SystemVerilog and SVA.
- Strong understanding of C-SoC verification flows and processor-based validation.
- Good knowledge of ARC and/or ARM processor pipelines.
- Solid understanding of on-chip and peripheral protocols including :
- I3C
- I2C
- UART
- SMBUS
Preferred/Nice to Have :
- Exposure to AI or agentic tools for code generation, automation, or productivity improvement.
- Familiarity with emulation platforms and large-scale regression environments.
