SAP S/4 HANA Functional Consultant EWM (Extended Warehouse Management)

Job Summary :

This is a client-facing, functional consultant role and the candidate will be responsible for solution design, system configuration, and production support.

Key Responsibilities :

SAP EWM Functional Expertise :

- Warehouse Organizational Structure (Warehouse Number, Storage Types, Bins, etc.)

- Inbound and Outbound Logistics Processes

- Process-Oriented and Layout-Oriented Storage Control

- Replenishment Strategies and Physical Inventory Processes

- Serial Number & Batch Management

- Wave Management, 2-step Picking, RF (ITS) Screen Design, and Packaging

- ATP (Available to Promise) checks in EWM scenarios

Delivery & Shipment Processing :

Configure and support :

- Delivery Processing

- Shipment Processing including Output Determination

- Transportation Unit Management (TU)

- Idoc Handling, Interface Monitoring, and Queue Management

Cross-Module Functional Knowledge :

Strong hands-on experience and integration knowledge with :

- SAP MM (Material Management) : P2P cycle, MIRO, Material Master

- SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) : Order-to-Cash cycle

- SAP QM (Quality Management) : Integration with warehouse processes

Implementation & Support :

- Requirement gathering

- Functional specifications

- Configuration & testing

- Cutover planning

- End-user training

- Provide post-go-live support, SLA-based issue resolution, and manage system enhancements.

Preferred Qualifications :

- SAP EWM Certification (preferred but not mandatory)

- Experience in at least 12 full end-to-end EWM implementations

- Experience in both decentralized and embedded EWM (nice to have)

- Good understanding of warehouse automation, integration with 3PL systems, and custom enhancements.
