Experience Required :

Overall 8+ years in SAP with Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience on SAP BTP, specifically focusing on BTP-based integration and development

Job Summary :

The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise in SAP Extension Suite, SAP Integration Suite, and BTP services such as API Management, Event Mesh, and Open Connectors, and will be responsible for delivering cloud-native applications and seamless cross-platform integrations - all within the BTP environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement integration flows within SAP BTP to connect SAP systems (e.g., S/4HANA, SuccessFactors) with external systems (e.g., Salesforce, Workday, third-party APIs).

- Build and manage secure, scalable APIs using SAP API Management.

- Leverage SAP Event Mesh and/or Kyma Runtime for event-driven integration patterns.

- Use Open Connectors to enable out-of-the-box integration with third-party SaaS platforms.

- Manage connectivity and security configurations including Destinations, XSUAA, and OAuth2 flows within BTP.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into robust BTP-native solutions.

- Monitor integration performance and troubleshoot issues within BTP.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Proven experience with :

1. SAP Integration Suite (within BTP)

2. SAP Extension Suite (CAP Model, Node.js/Java, Fiori/UI5)

3. API Management, Event Mesh, Open Connectors

- Experience integrating BTP with systems like Salesforce, Workday, Microsoft services, etc.

- Strong understanding of OAuth2, JWT, and SAP BTPs security and authentication mechanisms.

- Proficient with Cloud Foundry environment, Destinations, and Connectivity services.

- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and development tooling (BAS or VS Code).

- Good understanding of REST APIs, OData services, and asynchronous messaging patterns.

Nice to Have :

- SAP BTP Certification(s) - particularly in Extension Suite or Integration Suite.

- Exposure to serverless functions (SAP Functions) and microservice architecture.
