Job Description :

We are looking for a highly skilled Python Automation Framework Developer with strong experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in Python, Pytest, OOPs concepts, and preferably YAML-based configurations. The role involves working closely with cross-functional engineering teams to build scalable and reliable automation solutions for complex systems.

The candidate is expected to bring hands-on experience from fast-paced and technically demanding environments such as Semiconductor, Embedded Systems, or Gaming Development domains. While domain experience in these areas is preferred, we also welcome strong SDET engineers with proven automation and framework development skills, irrespective of the domain.

Note : Candidates from Aerospace or Automotive domains will not be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust Python-based automation frameworks.

- Work with Pytest to create scalable and reusable test suites and test cases.

- Implement and enhance test automation strategies using strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs) principles.

- Use and maintain YAML for configuration, test data management, and environment setup (preferred).

- Collaborate with product, hardware, and software engineering teams to understand requirements and translate them into automated test solutions.

- Ensure automation frameworks are optimized for regression, system-level testing, and continuous integration pipelines.

- Debug automation issues, analyze logs, and ensure high-quality test coverage.

- Troubleshoot complex technical issues across multiple components and systems.

- Contribute to continuous improvement of automation processes and best practices.

- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5 to 6 years of hands-on experience in Python automation framework development.

- Strong expertise in Pytest, including custom fixtures, plugins, and parametrization.

- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and design principles.

- Experience working with YAML for configuration management (preferred).

- Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (Git), and automation lifecycle.

- Experience in Semiconductor, Embedded, or Gaming Development environments is highly preferred.

- SDET profiles with strong Python automation skills are welcome from any domain.

- Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Good to Have :

- Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and command-line tools.

- Exposure to hardwaresoftware integration testing.

- Experience with automation reporting tools, dashboards, or log analyzers.

- Familiarity with Docker or virtualized test environments.
