Position : Post Silicon Validation Engineer

Job Description :

Validation Engineer will work on IP/system level test case development, execution and debug for automotive systems.

Responsibilities :

- Work on development and execution of validation test plans and testcases written in embedded-C and debug in post-silicon environments.

- Be able to do proper documentation.

- Minimum 7+ years of experience in post silicon Validation or similar domains.

- Good technical knowledge and hands-on experience with embedded C programming in unix / windows environment and ARM architecture.

- Familiar with scripting languages (such as TCL, python)

- Good knowledge of Micro-controllers / SoC architecture and peripheral usage (I2C, SPI, UART etc.,)

- Working knowledge on validation of memory Interface for single, dual, quad, or octal SPI, HyperBus Interface and understanding of board requirements for the same

- Familiarity with common development and testing tools such as [e.g., Git, Jenkins, lab equipment like oscilloscopes and signal generators].

- Good in debug of embedded-C testcases in post-silicon environment by using relevant validation boards, instruments and debug tools (PLS, Lauterbach etc.,)

- Working knowledge in Emulation / Simulation / FPGA environment will be an added advantage

Preferred Experience and Skill set :

- Experience in silicon bring-up.

- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken), with the ability to effectively collaborate

Check points :

- Embedded C

- Microcontroller/ARM architecture/Any SOC Architecture in the Microcontroller side

- Memory interfaces validation

- Memory Interface for single, dual, quad, or octal SPI, Hyper Bus Interface and understanding of board requirements for the same
