Job Title : Automation Tester (Selenium / Playwright)

Location :

Bangalore

Exp : 7 to 9 Years

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and/or Playwright

- Generate and execute test scripts for web applications

- Debug and enhance automation scripts for stability and reliability

- Prepare detailed test scenarios and test cases based on business requirements

- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing

- Track, log, and verify defects using defect tracking tools

- Prepare and manage test data for automation and manual testing

- Create and share test execution reports and summary reports

- Coordinate re-testing activities after bug fixes or releases

- Ensure integrity and consistency of automated test execution

- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams for CI/CD integration

- Participate in requirement analysis and test planning discussions

- Maintain automation frameworks and improve reusability

- Ensure adherence to QA standards and best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 79 years of experience in Software Testing and Automation

- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium and/or Playwright

- Proficiency in programming languages like Java, JavaScript, or Python

- Experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks

- Strong understanding of STLC and SDLC

- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, ALM, etc.)

- Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured, etc.)

- Experience with version control tools like Git

- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills

- Good understanding of cross-browser and cross-platform testing

Preferred / Good to Have Skills :

- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps

- Knowledge of BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow)

- Exposure to performance testing tools

- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments

- Knowledge of Docker or cloud-based testing platforms

- Experience in database testing (SQL queries)
