About the Role :

We are seeking a Senior Manager - PMO to lead our Project Management Office (PMO) and drive strategic delivery across multiple technology initiatives.

This role will be responsible for establishing governance frameworks, overseeing end-to-end project execution, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring that programs are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to organizational objectives.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in IT project management, Agile methodologies, financial governance, and stakeholder engagement, along with proven experience in leading large, complex digital transformation programs.


Key Responsibilities :


Project & Program Governance :

- Establish and enforce project management standards, methodologies, and best practices (Agile, Scrum, Hybrid).

- Monitor project performance, KPIs, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Strategic Delivery Oversight :

- Drive the planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise-wide technology initiatives.

- Ensure adherence to scope, timeline, and budget while maintaining quality standards.

Financial & Resource Management :

- Manage project budgets, perform variance analysis, and ensure financial accountability.

- Forecast resource demand, identify skill gaps, and optimize team allocation.

Risk & Compliance :

- Identify project risks and dependencies, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with governance frameworks.

- Conduct periodic audits and reviews to maintain process maturity.

Stakeholder Engagement :

- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, presenting progress reports, dashboards, and insights.

- Foster collaboration across cross-functional business and technology teams.

Team Leadership & Development :

- Build, coach, and mentor PMO staff, project managers, and Scrum masters.

- Drive a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.


Required Qualifications :


- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 10+ years of experience in IT project/program management, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role.

- Proven expertise in Agile, Scrum, and hybrid delivery models.

- Strong experience in process consultancy, governance frameworks, and enterprise program delivery.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.


Preferred Skills :


- Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Project) for reporting and analysis.

- Exposure to enterprise project portfolio management tools (e., Jira, MS Project, Clarity, Smartsheet).

- Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, SAFe Agilist, PRINCE2, or CSM will be an added advantage
