Job Title : MEAN Stack Developer.

Job Location : Kochi.

Experience : 6+.

Reporting to : Technical Lead.

Job Overview :

As a MEAN Stack Developer at Softobiz Technologies, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks and backend technologies.

You will work closely with architects, product owners, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver secure, high-quality digital solutions aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, and Node.js.

- Build secure, scalable, and high-performance RESTful APIs and backend services.

- Work with both SQL Server and MongoDB for data modeling, query optimization, and integration.

- Collaborate with UI/UX, QA, and DevOps teams throughout the SDLC.

- Participate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and estimation.

- Ensure code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and best practices.

- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.

Skills & Experience :

- 6+ years of hands-on experience in MEAN stack development.

- Strong expertise in Angular, Node.js, and Express.js.

- Experience with MongoDB and SQL Server (schema design, indexing, performance tuning).

- Strong understanding of REST APIs, authentication/authorization (JWT/OAuth), and security best practices.

- Experience with Git, branching strategies, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with microservices and event-driven architecture.

- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

- Experience with performance optimization, caching (Redis), and observability/logging.
