Role Overview :

We are seeking a skilled Workday Test Engineer with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in testing Workday HCM modules. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating test strategies, executing end-to-end testing cycles, validating configurations, and ensuring the overall quality of Workday releases and enhancements. This is a fully on-site role based in Bangalore, and we are looking for immediate joiners who can contribute quickly to ongoing projects.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases for various Workday HCM modules, including Core HCM, Recruiting, Absence, Time Tracking, Talent & Performance, Compensation, and Payroll.

- Perform functional, regression, integration, UAT, and end-to-end testing for Workday features, enhancements, and bi-annual releases.

- Validate configuration changes, business processes, security roles, integrations, and reporting requirements to ensure accuracy and compliance.

- Participate in requirement analysis sessions to interpret functional specifications and identify detailed test scenarios.

- Clearly document test results and defects, manage defect lifecycle, and collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure timely resolution.

- Support Workday release management activities, including feature impact analysis, test automation readiness, and execution of regression cycles.

- Ensure that testing adheres to quality standards, timelines, and best practices across Workday functional areas.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide test-related insights, mitigate risks, and contribute to product stability.

Requirements :

- 3-5 years of strong experience in Workday Testing across HCM modules.

- Hands-on knowledge of Workday functional areas such as Core HCM, Absence, Recruiting, Time Tracking, Talent, Compensation, and Payroll.

- Strong understanding of Workday business processes, integrations, security, and reporting.

- Experience with functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing cycles.

- Ability to analyze requirements, prepare test scenarios, and execute structured test plans.

- Strong defect documentation, tracking, and coordination skills.

- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

- Immediate joiners preferred.
