Snowflake Developer - ETL/Data Warehousing

Description :

We are looking for a highly skilled Snowflake Developer with strong expertise in SQL and data warehousing to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and managing Snowflake-based data pipelines and warehouse solutions to support analytics and business intelligence needs.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using Snowflake.

- Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.

- Optimize performance of Snowflake data models and queries.

- Implement data warehouse solutions and integrate data from multiple sources.

- Create and manage Snowflake objects such as tables, views, schemas, stages, and file formats.

- Monitor and manage Snowflake compute resources and storage usage.

- Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and business teams to understand data requirements.

- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all layers.

- Participate in code reviews and follow Snowflake best practices.

Requirements :

- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or Snowflake Developer.

- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake cloud data platform.

- Expert-level knowledge of SQL (joins, subqueries, CTEs, window functions, performance tuning).

- Proficient in data modeling and warehousing concepts (star/snowflake schema, normalization, etc.).

- Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Matillion, or custom script
