Snowflake Developer - ETL/Data Modeling

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Deep knowledge of Snowflake architecture, features, and components (including virtual warehouses, databases, schemas, and stages).

- Proficient in using Snowflakes SQL and advanced features such as time travel, zero-copy cloning, data sharing, and security controls.

- Experience with Snowflakes data loading mechanisms (COPY INTO, Snowpipe, staged data, and batch vs. real-time ingestion).

- Ability to design, implement, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake and integrate with various cloud storage solutions.

- Strong understanding of data modeling (star/snowflake schemas, normalization/denormalization), and best practices for scalable analytics.

- Experience with handling structured and semi-structured data (JSON, Parquet, Avro, XML).

- Experience connecting Snowflake to BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

- Proficient in SQL and scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript for Snowflake UDFs and automation tasks.

- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD automation for data pipelines.
