Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Developer with strong expertise in data engineering, SQL optimization, and data modeling to join our client engagement. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Snowflake and a deep understanding of data pipelines, transformations, and cloud-based data warehousing solutions. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to design, develop, and deliver scalable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions within Snowflake.

- Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL workflows using Snowflake and related tools.

- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.

- Work on data transformation, cleansing, and validation to ensure accuracy and integrity.

- Contribute to data modeling, architecture, and design discussions, ensuring alignment with best practices.

- Integrate Snowflake with various data sources, APIs, and BI tools.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business analysts, data engineers, and architects) to deliver end-to-end solutions.

- Implement security best practices, access controls, and governance within Snowflake.

- Monitor and optimize cost, performance, and scalability of Snowflake environments.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers where needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 6-8 years of experience as a Data Engineer / Snowflake Developer.

- Strong hands-on expertise in Snowflake Cloud Data Platform.

- Proficiency in SQL (advanced queries, optimization, and performance tuning).

- Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline development.

- Knowledge of data modeling techniques (star schema, snowflake schema, normalization, denormalization).

- Experience integrating Snowflake with BI/Analytics tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) and data services.

- Prior pharma domain knowledge is highly preferable.

- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work in client-facing environments.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Snowflake Certification (SnowPro Core or Advanced).

- Experience with Python/Scala/Spark for data processing.

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices.

- Exposure to data governance and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, GDPR).
