Job Description

Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Snowflake Developer to join our growing data engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data warehouse solutions on the Snowflake platform.


You will collaborate closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into efficient and scalable ETL pipelines. Your work will directly impact the business by enabling data-driven decision-making and providing insights that drive growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop robust ETL pipelines using Talend to ingest, transform, and load data into Snowflake.

- Optimize Snowflake database performance through query tuning, indexing, and data partitioning.

- Collaborate with data architects to define and implement data warehousing best practices and standards.

- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues, ensuring data quality and reliability for downstream users.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for data models, ETL processes, and data dictionaries.

- Work with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into technical specifications.

- Implement data security measures to protect sensitive data and comply with regulatory requirements.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and maintain data warehouses using Snowflake DB.

- Proven expertise in building and optimizing ETL pipelines using Talend.

- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, including dimensional modeling, star schemas, and data governance.

- Excellent SQL skills and experience in query optimization.

- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Adaptable to work in a remote or hybrid environment, collaborating with team members across multiple locations.
