Snowflake Architect - Python/PySpark

About the Role :

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in designing and implementing scalable data solutions on Snowflake.

Candidate should have hands-on knowledge working with Snowflake keeping aligned with latest trends in Snowflake.

- Design, develop, and implement Snowflake-based data solutions.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into

technical solutions.

- Optimize and tune Snowflake environments for performance and cost efficiency.

- Develop and enforce best practices for data governance, security, and compliance.

- Lead and mentor a team of data engineers and analysts.

- Integrate Snowflake with other data tools and platforms.

- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and workflows.

- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Snowflake and cloud data

warehousing.

Required Skills :

- Proficiency in SQL and performance tuning.

- Proficiency in PySpark/Python/Snowpark

- Experience with working with dbt (Data Build Tool)

- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes and tools.

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

- Knowledge of data modeling, data integration, and data migration.

- Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance best practices.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills
