Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Architect with 12+ years of expertise in data warehousing, cloud architecture, and Snowflake implementations. The ideal candidate will design, optimize, and manage large-scale Snowflake data platforms, ensuring scalability, performance, and security. This role requires deep technical knowledge of Snowflake, cloud ecosystems, and data engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Snowflake Architecture & Design :

- Lead the design and implementation of Snowflake data warehouses, data lakes, and data marts.

- Define best practices for Snowflake schema design, clustering, partitioning, and optimization.

- Architect multi-cloud (AWS) Snowflake deployments with seamless integration.

- Design data sharing, replication, and failover strategies for high availability.

2. Performance Optimization & Scalability :

- Optimize query performance using Snowflake features (warehouse sizing, caching, materialized views).

- Implement automated scaling strategies for dynamic workloads.

- Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks in large-scale Snowflake environments.

3. Data Integration & Pipeline Development :

- Architect ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake, Coalesce and other tools.

- Integrate Snowflake with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI), ML platforms, and APIs.

- Implement CDC (Change Data Capture), streaming, and batch processing solutions.

4. Security, Governance & Compliance :

- Define RBAC, data masking, row-level security, and encryption policies in Snowflake.

- Ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and SOC2 regulations.

- Establish data lineage, cataloging, and auditing using Snowflake's governance features.

5. Team Leadership & Strategy :

- Mentor data engineers, analysts, and developers on Snowflake best practices.

- Collaborate with C-level executives to align Snowflake strategy with business goals.

- Evaluate emerging trends (AI/ML in Snowflake, Iceberg tables, Unistore) for innovation.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 12+ years in data warehousing, cloud architecture, and database technologies.

- 8+ years of hands-on Snowflake architecture & administration experience.

- Expertise in SQL, Python for data processing.

- Deep knowledge of Snowflake features (Time Travel, Zero-Copy Cloning, Snowpark, Streams & Tasks).

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS S3, Azure Blob)

- Strong understanding of data modeling (star schema, data vault, 3NF).

- Certifications: Snowflake Advanced Architect.

Preferred Skills :

- Knowledge of DataOps, MLOps, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Familiarity with DBT, Airflow, SSIS & IICS
