Snowflake Administrator - Talend/Informatica

Key Responsibilities :

- Administer, monitor, and maintain Snowflake environments across development and production.

- Manage security roles, user provisioning, and access controls within Snowflake.

- Optimize Snowflake compute usage and storage costs through performance tuning.

- Support data pipeline integration with Snowflake using tools like Talend, Apache Airflow, or Informatica.

- Implement backup, disaster recovery, and data retention strategies.

- Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to design and support Snowflake-based solutions.

- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and resolve Snowflake-related issues.

- Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.

Mandatory Skills :

- Hands-on experience with Snowflake administration (monitoring, performance tuning, warehouse optimization).

- Strong understanding of SQL, data warehousing, and ETL concepts.

- Experience with role-based access control (RBAC) in Snowflake.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

- Scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for automation tasks.

- Understanding of CI/CD practices and experience using DevOps tools for deployment.

Good to Have :

- Experience integrating Snowflake with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.

- Knowledge of Snowflake's Data Sharing and Data Marketplace features.

- Exposure to data governance frameworks and tools like Collibra or Alation.
