Job Description

Job Summary :

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented IT professional to manage IT asset inventory and provide desktop support across the organization. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth functioning of end-user systems, enforce IT compliance, manage MDM and antivirus systems, and maintain accurate records of all IT assets.

Key Responsibilities :

1. IT Asset & Inventory Management :

- Maintain and update IT asset inventory (laptops, desktops, network devices, software licenses, and peripherals).

- Track the entire asset lifecycle - procurement, allocation, movement, maintenance, and decommissioning.

- Coordinate with procurement and finance teams for asset tagging, disposal, and audits.

- Conduct regular physical verification and reconciliation of IT assets.

- Prepare and share periodic inventory and compliance reports.

2. Device Management & Security :

- Manage and monitor all devices using MDM (Mobile Device Management) solutions.

- Deploy and enforce security policies, software updates, and compliance checks through MDM.

- Administer and monitor antivirus solutions, ensuring all endpoints are updated and secure.

- Assist in vulnerability management, patch compliance, and endpoint protection audits.

- VPN Management, Sophos Firewall basic understanding(Good to have)

3. Desktop Support & Troubleshooting :

- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 desktop support to end-users (Windows, macOS, and basic Linux systems).

- Perform installation, configuration, and upgrades of OS, software, and drivers.

- Troubleshoot hardware, network, and software-related issues promptly.

- Support users in resolving common IT issues (printer, email, VPN, connectivity, etc.).

- Escalate critical incidents to relevant teams and follow up until resolution.

4. Compliance & Documentation :

- Ensure compliance with IT security, data protection, and audit requirements.

- Maintain documentation for all IT assets, user devices, and software installations.

- Support IT policy implementation and adherence across teams.

- Participate in internal and external IT audits.

Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 2-4 years of experience in IT support and asset management.

- Good understanding of MDM tools, antivirus solutions, and IT compliance frameworks.

- Hands-on experience with Windows, Linux, macOS, and common business applications.

- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Knowledge :

- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Freshservice, or ServiceNow).

- Familiarity with Active Directory and user management.

- Basic understanding of networking (LAN/Wi-Fi, IP configuration, VPN).

- Knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Change, and Asset Management).
