The Role :

Were looking for an Senior Platform /Devops Engineer who enjoys building reliable systems, working close to production, and scaling backend services in a fast-growing startup environment.

This role is ideal for engineers who are backend-heavy, with good exposure to cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and system reliability, and who want to grow into larger architectural ownership over time.

What Youll Do :

- Build and maintain scalable backend services and APIs that power Snabbits core workflows

- Work closely with DevOps / SRE teams to ensure systems are reliable, observable, and production-ready

- Improve performance, latency, and stability of services under increasing load

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code with strong ownership

- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and release processes

- Troubleshoot production issues, participate in incident resolution, and drive root-cause fixes

- Collaborate with product and frontend teams to deliver end-to-end features

What Were Looking For :

- 2-4 years of experience as a Software Engineer (Backend-focused)

- Strong fundamentals in data structures, APIs, and backend system design

- Hands-on experience with one or more backend languages (Go / Java / Python preferred)

- Working knowledge of AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, etc.) or equivalent cloud platforms

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and deployment workflows

- Understanding of observability basics (logs, metrics, alerts) and production debugging

- Comfortable working in a high-ownership, fast-moving startup environment

Good to Have :

- Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes

- Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure-as-Code concepts

- Prior experience working with high-traffic or production-critical systems

- Basic understanding of monitoring tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.)
