Snabbit is at the inflection point where the right infra decisions compound for years and the wrong ones slow everything down. You'll own the systems that every engineer depends on, and build them before the problems get hard to fix.

- You've built things in prod from scratch not just maintained or extended existing systems

- In a lean team, you wear multiple hats without losing sight of the bigger picture

- You can drive ambiguous, zero-to-one projects with minimal oversight

- You make the engineers around you faster through tooling, good defaults, and knowing when to just fix it

You should apply if you :

- Have built and owned infra systems end-to-end not just contributed to them

- Understand microservices and distributed systems in production failure modes, observability, and recovery

- Have solid networking fundamentals load balancers, VPCs, security groups, routing

- Are proficient in Go or Python for building platform tooling and automation

- Actively use AI-assisted development tools to move faster and build smarter

You'll work on :

- Building the ephemeral staging environment system from scratch provisioning, teardown, mock data, downstream service support

- Building service onboarding automation IaC templates, CI/CD scaffolding, deployment standards so new services go live without manual intervention

- Designing and implementing the observability stack picking the right tools, setting standards for logs, metrics, and alerts across all services

- Owning DR strategy multi-AZ drills, DB security hardening, recovery runbooks

- Driving compute cost optimization on AWS right-sizing, waste reduction, anomaly flagging

- Building canary deployment capability for services

- Building higher-order AI skills for the platform DR runbook generation, cost anomaly detection, observability tuning, IaC policy enforcement
