Overview :

The Sr DevOps Engineer will manage CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and containerized environments to ensure reliable, automated deployments for platforms like SmartVault and OCMP, enabling teams to ship code faster with zero-downtime updates.

Responsibilities :

- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab : Build end-to-end workflows for build, test, scan (security/vulnerabilities), and deploy stages, integrating with Git repos, artifact stores (Nexus/Artifactory), and blue-green/canary strategies for safe releases.

- Manage Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters for container orchestration : Deploy, scale, and maintain pods/services, configure Helm charts, manage RBAC/network policies, auto-scaling (HPA), and upgrades to support microservices at scale.

- Monitor system performance using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack : Set up dashboards for metrics (CPU/memory), logs (centralized search/alerting), tracing, and anomaly detection to proactively resolve issues like latency spikes or resource exhaustion.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform or Ansible : Write IaC code for cloud resources (AWS/GCP VMs, VPCs, DBs), configuration management (playbooks/roles), and idempotent deployments to ensure consistency across dev/staging/prod.

Required Skills :

- Expertise in OCP, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD tools.

- Proficiency in IT infrastructure and networking concepts (e.g., load balancers, firewalls, VPC peering)
