Smartping - CPaaS Project Manager

Overview :

- Define project scope, deliverables, and timelines for all CPaaS modules.

- Develop detailed project plans encompassing SMS/IVR/OBD, CCaaS, OTT channels, infrastructure, and SmartVault.

- Oversee resource allocation, ensuring optimal use of engineering, QA, and DevOps teams.

- Monitor project milestones, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

2. Stakeholder Management :

- Act as the primary liaison between technical teams, product management, and senior leadership.

- Facilitate regular progress reviews with stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of status, risks, and outcomes.

- Manage relationships with third-party vendors and partners for OTT channels like WhatsApp and RCS.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration :

- Coordinate efforts across backend, frontend, DevOps, infrastructure, and support teams to ensure seamless integration of CPaaS components.

- Align objectives of technical and non-technical teams, bridging gaps in understanding and priorities.

- Manage dependencies between SmartVault, OCMP, and other modules for uninterrupted progress.

4. Risk and Issue Management :

- Identify potential project risks, including technical, resource-related, or external dependencies.

- Develop contingency plans to address critical challenges proactively.

- Track and resolve project issues with clear documentation and stakeholder engagement.

5. Reporting and Documentation :

- Prepare detailed project reports, including progress, risks, and resource utilization, for senior leadership.

- Maintain documentation for project plans, workflows, and milestones for future reference.

- Ensure alignment of project objectives with overall business goals.

Required Skills :

- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).

- Familiarity with CPaaS components (SMS, IVR, OBD, CCaaS, OTT channels) and related

technologies.

- Expertise in tools like Jira, Confluence, MS Project, and Trello for project tracking and management.

- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to manage complex dependencies and coordinate across cross-disciplinary teams.

Preferred :

- 10+ years in project management, with 3+ years in managing CPaaS or SaaS projects.

- Proven success in delivering complex, multi-module platforms on time and within budget.
