SleepyCat - Lead Full Stack Developer - Shopify

About the Role :

We are looking for a talented Full Stack Developer with deep Shopify expertise to join our team. You will be responsible for building, customizing, and scaling our e-commerce platform end-to-end. From crafting seamless user experiences on the front end to ensuring robust integrations and functionality on the back end, you'll play a key role in driving our online business forward.

Mandatory - Shopify experience required

Good to be : From D2C background/ mattress Industry

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain Shopify/Shopify Plus websites, custom themes, and apps.

- Build, test, and optimize front-end experiences (UI/UX, responsiveness, speed, SEO).

- Develop and manage back-end logic, APIs, and third-party integrations (payments, logistics, CRM, ERP, etc.).

- Create custom Shopify apps and extend Shopify functionalities as per business needs.

- Ensure code quality, scalability, and security through best practices & code reviews.

- Collaborate with design, marketing, and product teams to deliver seamless solutions.

- Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, ensuring high uptime and smooth operations.

- Stay up to date with Shopify updates, emerging e-commerce technologies, and full-stack trends.

Requirements :

- 5-7 years of full-stack development experience, with at least 2+ years of proven Shopify expertise.

- Strong skills in Shopify Liquid, HTML, Reachjs and nodejs.

- Experience with Node.js, Express.js, or similar back-end frameworks.

- Familiarity with Shopify APIs (REST & GraphQL) and app development.

- Strong knowledge of databases (MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or similar).

- Experience with version control (Git) and deployment pipelines.

- Solid understanding of e-commerce performance optimization and SEO best practices.

- Problem-solving mindset with ability to work independently and in teams.
