- As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer at SkyPlusNews, you will be the backbone of our digital delivery system. You will design, implement, and manage the scalable cloud environments that power our 24/7 news reporting, live streaming services, and data-driven editorial tools. Your mission is to ensure high availability, robust security, and cost-efficiency across our multi-cloud ecosystem (AWS/GCP).

Key Responsibilities :

- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Architect and maintain our cloud environment using Terraform or CloudFormation to ensure reproducible and version-controlled infrastructure.

- Media Delivery Optimization : Manage Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) like CloudFront or Akamai to ensure ultra-low latency for global video streaming and news article delivery.

- Scalability & Performance : Implement auto-scaling policies to handle sudden traffic spikes during major breaking news events (e.g., elections, global crises).

- Security & Compliance : Enforce IAM policies, encryption at rest/transit, and regular vulnerability scanning to protect sensitive journalistic sources and user data.

- CI/CD Pipeline Support : Collaborate with developers to streamline deployment workflows using Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions.

- Cost Management : Monitor cloud spend and optimize resource allocation to balance performance with the departmental budget.

Technical Qualifications :

- Cloud Platforms : 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS (preferred) or Google Cloud Platform.

- Containerization : Deep expertise in Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/GKE) for managing microservices.

- Scripting : Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go for automation and tool development.

- Networking : Strong understanding of VPCs, DNS (Route53), Load Balancing, and API Gateways.

- Database Management : Experience with NoSQL (MongoDB/DynamoDB) and relational databases (PostgreSQL/Aurora) in a cloud-native context.
