Skylo is hiring a highly motivated Engineering Program Manager with a solid background in technical program and project management, specifically within cloud infrastructure and software release management.

You have practical, hands-on experience managing complex, cross-functional projects. This role involves coordinating multiple engineering teams, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and proactively addressing potential challenges.

You'll manage a wide range of initiatives, including developing and deploying cloud-native applications, orchestrating software releases, integrating with various internal systems, and working with vendors.

Your ability to communicate detailed project statuses to both technical and non-technical audiences is critical, and you have a strong technical foundation in software and cloud technologies.

How You Will Contribute :

- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of cloud infrastructure and software release projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope.

- Create and manage comprehensive project plans, roadmaps, and timelines. Work with cross-functional teams to define scope, dependencies, and resource assignments.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding project status, risks, and deliverables. Communicate effectively to ensure alignment across all teams.

- Drive non-engineering tasks such as hosting meetings, addressing queries from product management, sales, and vendors, and removing blockers for the engineering teams.

- Conduct post-project evaluations to gather retrospective feedback and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and project delivery.

- Ensure timely upward communication and escalation of issues to engineering leadership and other relevant teams.

- Experience working with a variety of teams, including software engineering, cloud infrastructure, quality assurance, and product management.

What We Look For :

- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.

- 5+ years of experience in project and engineering program management, with a focus on cloud, SaaS, and/or software release management.

- Deep understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and experience with cloud-native applications.

- Proficiency in waterfall, scrum, and agile methodologies.

- Experience with program management tools such as JIRA

- Demonstrated ability to work with external stakeholders (e.g., clients, vendors, partners).

- Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments, adapting quickly to changing priorities.
