Role Overview :

As a Technical Lead at Skeps, you will spearhead the design and development of robust, high-performance web applications that power our core lending products. You will operate at the intersection of backend architecture and frontend delivery, guiding a team of talented engineers to build seamless user experiences. This role involves close collaboration with product managers and cross-functional stakeholders to translate complex financial requirements into scalable technical solutions. You will be responsible for maintaining high code quality, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring our platform remains resilient as we scale our transaction volume.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and implement scalable backend services using Node.js to ensure high availability and low latency for financial transactions.

- Lead the development of intuitive and responsive user interfaces using Angular 11 to provide a frictionless experience for our merchant and consumer base.

- Mentor and provide technical guidance to team members, fostering a culture of engineering excellence and rigorous code reviews.

- Collaborate with product and design teams to define technical roadmaps and ensure that feature delivery aligns with business objectives.

- Optimize application performance and security protocols to protect sensitive financial data and ensure compliance with industry standards.

- Drive the adoption of best practices in software development, including automated testing and CI/CD pipelines, to improve deployment velocity.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in building enterprise-grade applications using Node.js and Angular 11, with a deep understanding of their respective ecosystems and performance optimization techniques.

- Proven ability to design complex system architectures that are modular, maintainable, and capable of handling high-concurrency workloads.

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both engineering teams and non-technical stakeholders.

- Experience in leading technical teams through the full software development lifecycle, from initial requirement gathering to production deployment.

- A track record of solving complex technical challenges in a fast-paced, product-focused environment.

- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment based out of our Gurgaon office, collaborating seamlessly with distributed team members.

- Candidates must possess 7 - 15 years of relevant experience in software engineering and technical leadership.
