Role Overview :
As an SDET II/III at Skeps, you will be instrumental in defining the quality strategy for our core fintech platforms. You will work closely with product managers and backend engineers to design robust automation frameworks that ensure the reliability of our high-frequency transaction systems. Your day-to-day involves architecting test suites, conducting deep-dive API validations, and integrating quality gates into our CI/CD pipelines. By building scalable testing solutions, you directly influence the stability of our financial products and ensure a seamless experience for our enterprise clients and end-users.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and maintain scalable automation frameworks from scratch to improve release velocity and system reliability.
- Execute comprehensive API testing strategies to ensure the integrity and security of complex financial data exchanges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to identify bottlenecks in the development lifecycle and implement automated solutions.
- Conduct rigorous performance and regression testing to maintain high availability for our merchant and lender platforms.
- Mentor junior team members on best practices in automation, code quality, and test-driven development to foster a culture of engineering excellence.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated expertise in building and managing automation frameworks using Java and Selenium.
- Proven ability to perform complex API testing and validation in distributed system environments.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Ability to communicate technical quality metrics effectively to stakeholders and influence product roadmap decisions.
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment based in Gurugram, balancing independent problem-solving with collaborative team efforts.
- 4 - 8 years of professional experience in software testing and quality engineering roles.
