Role Overview :

As an SDET II, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our fintech ecosystem. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and cross-functional engineering teams to design and execute rigorous testing strategies that safeguard our platform's integrity. Your daily contributions will involve deep-dive manual testing, edge-case identification, and process optimization, directly impacting the user experience and the financial accuracy of our transaction workflows. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering robust, bug-free software solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure the functional correctness of complex financial workflows.

- Perform thorough manual testing across web and mobile interfaces to identify defects and ensure seamless user journeys.

- Collaborate with the development team to reproduce, document, and track software defects, ensuring timely resolution and high-quality releases.

- Conduct exploratory testing to uncover hidden vulnerabilities and edge cases that automated suites might overlook.

- Participate in requirement analysis and sprint planning to provide early feedback on feature feasibility and testability.

- Maintain detailed documentation of test results and quality metrics to provide stakeholders with clear visibility into product stability.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in manual testing methodologies, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to break down complex business requirements into detailed, actionable test scenarios.

- Proven experience in managing the end-to-end software testing life cycle within an agile development environment.

- Excellent communication skills to effectively articulate technical issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work setup in Gurgaon.

- Proficiency in using bug tracking and test management tools to streamline quality assurance processes.

- Ability to adapt quickly to evolving product requirements and maintain high standards of accuracy under tight deadlines.

- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
