Job description :
SiteRecon is looking for a Sr. Product designer who is ready to play a technical role while working directly with the founder of the company. Under this role, you will be responsible for enhancing customer experience by improving the usability & accessibility of the products.
What you will do :
- Take high level product ideas from conception through execution, across web and mobile. We are a small team so you'll work across a wide range of areas - product strategy, user research, and UX/UI design in particular.
- Take joint ownership of metrics and strategy with the product team, and work collaboratively with engineering and operations to achieve goals.
- Set a standard for User Experience which matches the likes of Apple Inc., Airbnb and if possible surpasses it. Simplicity and minimalism are the words to live by in our product team.
- Working closely with the product head to understand the concept and deliver the results as per industry best practices and standards and do iterations on design till approval from the product head.
- Market research for the industry to get the most relevant or trending design and product experience.
- Customer research and interviews to create the detailed customer personas which will drive our design system and methodology
- Every design decision should be backed by sound reasoning based on customer research, user psychology, UX principles and trends and data (if available).
- Creating high fidelity prototypes (In Figma) which can be presented directly to the customers to gain valuable feedback before investing in the development.
- Ability to use analytics tools such as hotjar, Google Analytics, Amplitude and survey tools to understand the engagement of users with the live product and improve designs to boost the product KPIs
- Working closely with the product development team to deliver best in class feasible designs over different versions.
- Do product testing as a part of UAT before every release to ensure pixel perfect delivery, check whether the actual data is not contradicting with the proposed design and the user flows are as easy and complete as imagined during design.
- Planning concepts for design assets by studying relevant information and materials related to geospatial, AI agents and SiteRecon.
- Illustrating concepts by designing digital assets for social media, blog and other channels with attention to visual aesthetic, art arrangement, size, type, color layout as per branding practices, size and style.
Required skills & qualifications :
- Bachelor's / Master's degree in design, HCI or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 5 years of work experience in Product UX design along with at least 2 years experience in conducting user research through interviews,heatmaps and surveys.
- Entrepreneurship or small startup experience
- Proficient in design tools like - Figma., Adobe Photoshop/ Illustrator
- Good knowledge of HTML 5/ CSS3 and CSS frameworks to check for design bugs during release testing
- Experience with working with usability research tools.
- An Aptitude & honed intuition for tasteful visual design details.
- Ability to research trends in the market for a seamless user experience.
- A strong awareness of common usability methods & principles.
